Hi Claudio, Quote You speak about "we." But i think, you are alone with programming. End quote
That is true that I am the only programmer for USA Games, but not the only person in running USA Games on a day to day basis. As it happens I actually do consult with friends though on some programming topics. For example a function might be working incorrectly, I will copy that section of code into a notepad text file, and email it to another programming gooru who will look it over and give me suggestions or corrections. So in that way they do contribute somewhat to the USA Games project, but aren't full time developers like I am. More like consultants. Quote Do you mean with "we" the betatesters? End quote No, generally I mean me and my wife who are the soul owners of the company. I handle all of the technical day to day stuff like programming the games, creating the web site, and my wife gets stuck with some of the secretarial and book keeping part of the business. I've created a licensing tool for Monte so if an order comes in and i don't feel up to processing it she might use the Monte licensing tool and my custom made order.php script to process the orders for me. My wife also gets to do odd jobs for me like playing a game and describing some aspect I wouldn't be able to get out of a walkthrough or manual. For example, you know I am working on an accessible version of Tomb Raider. Well, seeing as I can't actually see the game I have her play the sighted version of the game, and describe things while I take down notes on this or that. Anyway, the term we generally means me and my family, but it also can be used as a meaning for the company as a group entity. Even though my wife and I handle the day to day stuff there are plenty of others who help us out in one way or another like donating sounds, music, programming tips, etc that I guess could fall under the we catagory as well. --- Gamers mailing list __ [email protected] If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org.
