Hi, Oh, I remember the Victor Blecman. Space Invaders song as well. It was the rave in the early 80's on Cleveland radio stations. I even vaguely remember some of the lines from the song. "There it was in the corner of the bar. I tried to run but I couldn't get far. Those weird little men I'll blow them away. I'd even sell my momma for a chanse to play.. He's hooked. he's hooked his brain is cooked. I slid to the left. I slid to the right. You know the space invaders came tonight. he's hooked.. He's hooked. his brain is cooked. Space invaders." I also remember the Playback Space Invaders song a little bit. I think it went something like: "Space in vaders. Space invaders. Runnin, runnin, to survive. Space invaders." That is about all I remember from those two songs. I was just a kid when those songs were out, and now they are like impossible to find on cd. Kind of like some other tapes I had as a kid that are in the out of print catagory. For example, in the early 1980's I had a tape of Lisa Heartman when she was into playing rock and roll before getting seriously into acting. I practically killed those audio tapes do to listening to them over and over as a kid, and nothing of hers is on cd that I know of. The best you can do is buy a tape or record from Ebay of her music which might be in good or horrible condition. I was lucky and baught a record off of Ebay for $30.00 which was still in shrink wrap and am eventually going to record it to mp3, and burn my own cd of it. However, my point is I wonder how many one hit wonders came out in the 80's, became popular for a while, vanished from public view, and never got their material on cd. Probably lots of them I guess.
