Hi Hunter, Seriously, they aren't that big a deal. The only two options for dealing with them is destroy them or trapping them in a room you plan to never enter again. As for getting bounced around once you know the level layout being bounced isn't always a bad thing. You can sometimes use the teleporter to get back to where you were or near the area where the temperal disturbance transported you. I only hate it when a td bounces me and drops me smack dab in the middle of a monster army and I am getting shot, hit, and bitten from all sides. Now, that really sucks.
