Hello all Let me say right up front I'm going away tomorrow so may not be able to read alot of responses to this idea for about a week. I've often wondered how to extend the distribution of the magazine to blind/vi computer users. The first thought that comes to mind is seeing if I provided the CD filled with various demo games, and issues of the magazine if an ADP [Assistive Devices Program] vender would be willing to give this CD to a client when setting up their PC. This mainly applies to Canada. I'm quite sure I could get one vender to go along with me on this. I've dealt with him for a good few years now. However there are other venders I don't have the rapport with and this is where someone else could come in. The person I know is from Sudata, however if someone here was in good say with MSC would they agree to give a client a CD with some free or demo games along with the mag? I know ADP is a Canadian program, but perhaps some of you people in the states or otherwise might be able to inquire about the same concept. I think this would be a fabulous opportunity to extend the audience we have, both as active parrticipants on lists or consumers for the devs. I hope this all makes some sense. I'll check in on the replies as often as possible, or get them all next weekend when we come back from our holidays.
