I don't have a laptop any more but you can get used to it, alternatively get a game pad as there are a few games now that you can configure to work with a USB game pad, troop2 of course, hunter and others which I better not plug! As for ships the hovvers can be a challenge especially on the later levels, and also those ships you can only shoot in the centre of the screen as you want to shoot others too. Oh well, can't be in too places at once! What I really like about Troop2 is I find it really hard to beat on insane so when I'm in practice its always going to be a challenge.
