Hi John,
Yeah, I have heard some horror stories about J2ME too from friends who 
graduated from college, and are writing stuff for cell phones. By and 
large though cell phone stuff might be popular in the sighted world but 
there is still a limited market in the blind market anyway.
With the different UI layouts for each brand of cell phone that 
definitly is too much work for me.. Besides which there still isn't 
really 3D audio support etc for cell phones anyway so I'd have no idea 
how some of my games would work on a cell phone even if I succeeded in 
porting them to a cell phone.
