Spoiler Space I've discovered something really helpful when fighting the boss. I have found that, when only jumping the whole time doesn't keep me safe from the boss, sometimes the boss shoots me even if I'm constantly jumping. What I have found out is, if I fire my gun while jumping, whether I hear the on target sound or not, the boss will never manage to shoot me. So what I do is, even if I don't hear the on target sound, I press control for fire and enter for jump, I do this the whole time and if I hear the on-target sound then I fire my gun 2 or 3 times. I have played more or less 50 games of pipe2 by using this technique in the boss round and that is why I'm sure it's a definite solution to prevent the boss from shooting you.
