morning! I just thought I'd share this with the people here who aren't on the audiogames.net forums. the other day, one member recommended this game, ---- and I must say thus far I'm impressed.
the game is Muelsfell rise of the golems found at http://www.muelsfell.com/ It's a really nice balance of resource management, questing and exploration, --- in fact I'd say it's the first game i've seen that really gets the balance right. You play as a magus creating golems, ---- magically animated constructs which you can use to explore, work, battle monsters or take on other magi if you so desire. the resource management is rather detailed, with some resources that renew over time and some which you have to gather that are both used for different things, but go through the in game tutorial and it'll explain things in detail so that you can get started. but for me the big advantage of managing your resources is going out and exploring with your golem. the descriptions of even random monsters are very nice, and there are various minigames to play as well as missions and quests. Obviously it's all screen reader friendly, --- if you subscribe the game you can even do major customization things to the display to help (and the subscription won't rupture your bank too much). All in all I'm impressed, --- and that's not something resource management games often do to me. the game is in public beta at the second, but will be going fully live at the end of april with a clan system and various other updates, --- but it's quite playable now. Hope people like it, Beware the Grue!
