Hey there Folks, Just to add my two sense into this thread.
Yes, Louis did a great job recreating a game that, if memory serves, was originally on the Apple II computers in 1984 or so. If I remember correctly, the original great escape was written by Delton T. Horn for a book about how to write apple games. I am so glad that Louis has made a port of this game that isn't sluggish like the other DOS port. OF course, when the other DOS port came out, I don't think Windows XP was even out yet, and of course, we all know about trying to play certain dos games under XP. grin At any rate, Louis, you brought back a lot of memories for me, I spent hours on end playing this game 20 years ago on an old Apple II GS computer with the echo pc synthesizer. . grin Great job.
