if you're using jaws. go to the jaws configuration, and then choose use options in the menu bar. it's under set options. you will want to uncheck typing interrupt. pres enter go to the file sub menu and save, and you'll be all set. if there isn't a vip mud config file already jaws will create one when you enter the configuration for the first time.
