Hi Dark, Yep. That is correct. Harry destroying the first Horcrux was more or less accidental since no one at the time new what they were dealing with. Dumbledore did the leg work finding the ring and letting Harry know there was a locket. Figuring out the rest of the horcruxes was pretty logical in hind sight since we knew Voldimort has an obsession with historical items, and he would only intrust them to his closest associates. Making Harry a horcrux was purely accidental. Voldimort's last chanse before he was blasted out of his first life.
