The muds that tend to burn my cookies are those with ascii maps and no ability to turn them off. If I can't navigate to the land of Kill-em-dead without assistance because there is a graphical representation of the wilderness and then I drown in a river that I had no idea was even there, I'll likely not play it. I hope that I have helped somewhat. also, great to hear that VipMud is out...I've been out of pocket for the past couple of weeks so I have yet to figure out how to get my hot little hands on it, but I'm sure I'll get to that sooner or later.
