Hi Nicol, If you want to turn those graphics off you need to do it through the Jaws configuration manager. I am not sure if this holds true for Jaws 7, but I would assume so. Here are directions how to do this in Jaws 9. Go to the Jaws Window and press alt+u for the utilities menu. Select the Jaws configuration manager from the drop down menu. After you are in the default.jcf file press alt+s to open the set options menu. From the Set Options drop down menu select graphics and symbols. Now tab to a radio button labeled graphics verbocity. By default it is set to all graphics. Down arrow until labeled graphics is checked. Now, tab to the ok button, and press enter. Finally, press control+s to save your changes to the Default.jcf file. From this point on Jaws will only speak graphics found in its graphics dictionaries. Any of the graphics that are unlabeled or just images will not be announced. HTH.
