Hi Thomas and all.

I too would be very interested in this if you do find time to do it.  I
have some experience with linux in terms of using the internet via shell
which I used to do all the time and still like to do when I can, but
have little experience with the other stuff you mention.  I know there
is oodles of info out there on linux however I quite frankly do not have
the time or energy to wade through it in order to just have an
accessible way to get it installed let alone anything else.

Oh, I see. I wasn't aware this was the final draft. In any case it is 
great starter for the Windows XP user. great work.
As far as continuing the kind of work you have started I have been 
thinking of doing something similar for Linux. I've been wanting to 
write up a authoritative guide for new Linux users that explains such 
things is how to use the Orca screen reader, the Gnome desktop, browsing

the internet, using email, how to play dvd movies, get podcasts, record 
and edit sounds, etc all in Linux.
