That makes sense. I'm going to show my age a little bit, but when I 
first got into computers MS Dos was the most advanced thing for a PC, 
and Linux didn't even exist yet. Back in the good old late 80's and 
early 90's one lived or died on a PC by being able to type commands such 
as del, deltree, cd, dir,chkdisk, etc.
So given that kind of intro to computers I am just as at home in a text 
only shell as I am with a fully blown graphical user interface like 
Windows or the Linux gnome graphical desktop environment.
