My thought on your idea? Probably not likely. This would be like shooting a bullet that had been fired at you with one of your own. For one thing, there's not enough time, and 2 other reasons would be the speed and size of the projectile. Arrows certainly move slower and are bigger than bullets, but you still wouldn't have the time to aim and shoot accurately enough.
