Smile. That's for sure. It all really comes down to strategy.
If you are using an especially powerful enemy like a centaur, Cyclops, etc use the more powerful weapons like the shotgun, mp5, etc. For weaker enemies like the skeletons use the pistol as you got a lot of ammo there for picking off weaker enemies. For something more in between the Magnum is fine against harpies.It all really takes a bit of thinking about which weapon does the job, and of course depends on if you have that weapon or not.
