BUt the USB headset should have its own independant settings from the
realtech soundcard should it not?
Have you tried setting GTC and such to hardware buffer and using the USB
headset?

May I ask, do any games or anything play in stereo for you? You may have
a setting set to mono somewhere because my games definitely pan and some
play stereo sound files. The sapi5 voices are mono though. You could
even try listening to the mp3 files that I just up loaded to send space.
