If you go to www.audiogames.net, you can search the big games list by
type, ----- including rpgs.
Sinse I'm only just starting out with muds myself (and having miner
trouble), I'll leave that matter to the more experienced people on list,
however for rpgs, i can highly recommend www.sryth.com, and
http://www.metroplexity.com/login.php
If your a text rpg fan, there are also some fantastic sites which provide
online playable gamebooks, with quests, items, and combat.
In particular I can recommend http://www.ffproject.com/
http://www.projectaon.org/new.htm and http://www.arborell.com/
There are many, many others, and generally it depends upon what you
like, ---- player combat? quests? or random elements.
