Hi,
I think he probably did that because most folks who read that are going to
be mainstream gamers. He talks about mainstream games more so perhaps more
people will be interested in the article.
This is just my guess, though.

Hi guys,
I had actually mentioned to Mathew that there were now a few flight
simulators of varying degree out there, from puppy from Jim Kitchen, to
the accessible effort with FS 2004 as well as 3d velocity. I mentioned in
passing that I had thought about doing an apache simulator, but that was
on hold for now, so I'm not really sure why he mentioned that. He also
left out my comments about the card games and how they can be played
online between the blind and sighted together.
I'm sure we all mentioned a lot of things in the interviews that didn't
get included, but I promise I tried, hehehe.
I agree the article focused too much on playing mainstream games and not
enough on the games designed for the blind, but still overall it is a
positive thing to have out there.
Later,
Che

Also,
The article seems to focus more on "how-to"...making mainstream games
accessible, versus the wide scope of audiogames we have currently. I
understand there's not much room when you're limited to one article but
to me it seems as if audiogames didn't gain enough attention in this one.

I'm not sure how many people know, but a chap from Gamespot contacted
various people in order to write an artical about Blind accessibility in
games.
The artical is finished, --- -and is a pretty good read all round.
thanks to thomas, Brandon, Niels of nielsbaur games Che and everyone
else who talked to the chap involved, ----- hopefully this should make
for some very good publicity.
The artical can be read at: http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6215457.html
Beware the grue!
