Thought I'd update this thread just in case there was anyone else on list curious to find a resolution.
I eventually got a reply back from David at GMA. Apparently joystick support is on the list of things to do, but no date has been set to start work on it. >From my breif investigation of the joytokey utility just now though, it pretty much looks like we'd be able to set this up ourselves, all be it with an extra layer added between GTC and your actual controller, but if it works I won't be the one to knock it.
