Hi, I figured out what I was doing wrong. Apparently, there were two chasms. I was jumping over the first one, but didn't realize I had to walk a few steps to the next one. Once I jumped over it, I was able to get the door open and continue on my way. Unfortunately, I got killed by an amazon later on, even though I was sure I was hitting her with my weapons, but at least I'm getting somewhere now. Thanks.
