Hi Josh, Yes, VMWare definitely does work better than Virtual PC. I've got an older copy of VMWare for Linux and I have run XP via VMWare before and it runs decently. Better to run it natively, of course, but acceptable if you want to run Windows side by side with something like Mac OS, Linux, etc.
