It's a simple, javascript based, client-side, webpage version of a noughts and 
crosses/ticTacToe game, and it also tries to render simple sound effects on 
each move, but they do currently have to be reloaded each time - looking into a 
couple of possible workarounds, and hopefully the current encodings thereof 
will work on most operating systems.

Part of this idea is that am trying out an open-source javascript library, 
which gives me decent/real access to/control over dynamic HTML, so while the 
sound effects, and restarting the game are done by loading webpages, the actual 
activity is all client side, and this also means that if this all works out, I 
could easily enough add interactivity to webpages for VI guys, at 

That would then make it relatively easy to render real interactive fiction 
webpages that didn't require server scripting/coding as such, and which should 
then work on most operating systems as long as their browsers supported the
