I have a homer simpson bottle opener, that when you use it on a bottle, he
says:
Hmmmmm, beer...yes! Yes, oh yes!
That comes out in a recorded sound clip playing in a little speaker mounted
in the bottle opener's handle, and I think this is officially licensed to
the simpsons, and the other joke is bought it after found it on a website
while looking for other audio specific things, and by buying one for a
friend, it counted as covering the hosting of 2 websites for me, for around
6 months.

while I never saw the tracy alman show as it didn't get shown over here,
I've been watching the simpsons, futurama and indeed Mat groaning's other
series the crytic ever sinse they started showing them over here, so it's
great to have them in your games, and I'm actually a bit jealous that you
had chance to chat with one of the writers.

Yes, Homer as in Homer Simpson, The Simpsons. As Thomas said Homer is in
just about every one of my games. Most often it is just Woo Hoo or Doh
when good or bad things happen. But there is Homer on a Harley with
Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie's car horn and even Otto the school bus
driver. So far Awesome Homer has Homer and Marge.
I have been a Simpsons fan since they got their start as two minute
shorts on the Tracy Almond show. I have all of the 21 seasons, used to
get the described audio via SAP and even got to break bread and talk with
one of the writers of the show. Oh yeah and lots of Simpson's stuff like
a 24 ounce beer mug, Simpson's shot glasses etc.
