The initial version was 5.40, which had some issues which have since been corrected in two further patches, 5.41 and 5.42. With this new release, the game works now on screens with a minimum resolution of 1280 by 800, which is my laptop's native resolution. There's no need to artificially fiddle with the display settings anymore. As with all Aurora releases, the game can be found at the official forum, http://aurora2.pentarch.org. First install 4.9, then 5.4, and finally 5.42. I intend on posting on the forums about updating the installer at some point soon to make this whole mess a bit easier.
