Hi all, For anybody that wants to know, there's a recommend a friend programme now on core exiles. By recommending a friend the new player gets a whole host of free stuff as too does the person who's name you put in the recommended field. Core exiles is a free to play game. You can do a whole host of things including crafting your own weapons, shields and other parts, making loads of money, exploring planets and alien systems, soon there will be the ability to make your own ships and either fly them or sell them.
