Now I just can't get past them!
I'm on murderin sam, and every the rattlers attack, I keep getting killed!

You have to shoot them. Problem is if you miss even once you freeze up and
you get bitten. That's always been a tricky part for me, not that I've
played either Bavisoft game in about four years if not longer.
