I found a very interesting, very different mud called Achaea. It's so weird and complex I can't wrap my head around it yet, but that's certainly preferable to the typical hack and slash style game. This game does seem promising, and its creators pride themselves in its depth. I'll let you know my progress in the game as I go on.
