The best thing about it as well is that even with the paid options it doesn't overbalance the game in that free players have the exact same opportunities as people who have premium accounts. Of course there are advantages but they aren't the type that will automatically put you ahead by having a premium account.
The other good thing about it is that it's fully persistent. It never ends and your account doesn't get wiped for at least 6 months of inactivity.
