Hi Alan.
It's all about the angle. keep track of your vertical heading with the t
key. When it's zero you've leveled out.
Also personally i never bother flying above 30 myself, sinse it's far easier
to land if your closer to the ground, and there are no penalties for low
flying at all, unrealistic as this sounds, though this may change in the
future.

Is there a keystroke to level off when the proper altitude is reached? I
get to 400 and when I pull back on the stick I start to descend and I
don't stop descending, but if I pull forward I rise and keep rising. I
goo up and down until I eventually crash.
