I use M irc for the chat in core exiles.
i'm not sure how this applies to jaws, but I basically just turn off all the
display bar the channel I'm looking at, sinse the last thing you want are
mutliple windows and such, then things are fairly easy with hal's virtual
focus, I just tab to the greaterthan button and read up from there to get
the last messages, and turn off vf and write when i want to chat.
i've also recently discovered if you go left from the file menue there's a
lot of really useful options in the alt bar, including a slef voicing with
sapi.
this I actually find really useful sinse I can here people's replies without
being focused on the m irc window, then just alt tab back and write a quick
response.
hth.
Beware the grue!
Dark.

Subject: [Audyssey] Does anybody use the mIRC chatting client, related to
IRC?
Hi all,
I'm wondering if anybody uses mIRC. It's a chatting client that uses
the IRC chatting program. This is real popular among gamers and stuff,
and with one of the online games I'm playing (cyber nations) they use
it alot. I use JAWS Screen reader version 11, and will soon update to
version 13. If any of you use mIRC in combination with JAWS, could you
please give me some pointers on how I can make mIRC work well with
JAWS? I know you can configure the mIRC scripts to perform certain
tasks and do things, but I'm just not sure how to make it work with
JAWS. Any advice/help would be appreciated. I realize this is not game
specific, but I felt that it was game related enough for me to ask on
here. Sorry if I'm off topic at all, just figured somebody on here
could help me out. /smiles/
Laurel and Stockard
