I meant that it sounded like the ending went badly for Mitsurugi not that it
did not sound good because it sounded fine.

I'm guessing the very Japanese sword effects put you off it being good.
lol Basically, it shows Mitsurugi attacking a bunch of villagers who are
all trying to kill him. He fights off a few, then more show up. Mitsurugi
says, "More of you? Fine..." and one of the villagers shouts, "Stay right
there, Mitsurugi! Your life ends here!" He proceeds to kill one more, then
runs onto a bridge. A man grabs a girl to use as a shield, and Mitsurugi
kills the man. Then he looks up and Taki leaps down from above. Then She
says, "You're too late.." They exchange blows and she tells him to give
her soul edge which is in a box. He opens the bug, pulls out the sword and
says, "I don't think so. This sword will be the source of all my power!"
And he leaps at her with both swords.
