I tried winfrotz, but it wont run. i get some application error Yeah i setup
a whole new windows account to ensure i was runnin with admin that is a
painful process since i am still in the middle of it.
Nothin i have tried works!

I am not sure, sinse on the interactive fiction page at whitestick there
are links both to wintads, and to winfrotz tts.
Logic would suggest winfrotz tts, but I'm not certain.

Yes, Shogun is playable. However, what interpreter specifically are
you using. I don't understand when you say, "I am using the text
reader from White Stick." I'm afraid that doesn't make any sense as
the Infocom games were written in a language known as Inform and are
played using in interpreter like Frotz, Winfrotz, Zoom, and so forth.
