I agree Haiden.
In fact I've always wanted to write a final verse of puff the magic dragon
myself, to the effect that after Jacky paper grew up, he finally grew up
some more and realized that actually he still! needed his friend puff from
time to time.
myself as someone who is 29 but still loves disney films, fantasy games and
the like, I'm absolutely of the opinion that innocence isn't something you
have as a child but then grow up and automatically lose, but something that
if you are wise, you will hang onto, or can regain yourself if you should
ever lose it, even if regaining this can be hard.
in fact myself, I can't actually think of too many things I did as a child
that I wouldn't! enjoy doing now, indeed in some ways now I am even better
able to enjoy being a child because I'm old enough to appreciate it! :D.
So, I've considdered writing a propper! ending for puff the magic dragon in
which an older Jack turns up again needing his friend.
Either that or puff gets quite justifyably irritated at his so called
friend, and after deciding enough is enough, flies down to jack and says
"I'll show you who's imaginary!"
And then eats him! :D.
Beware the Grue!
dark.
