Hi Michael, Sounds like a bad install to me. I downloaded and installed it on my old laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, the 32-bit version, and the game ran fine. Not sure what is going on with your install but it does work on Windows 7. At least the 32-bit version without any problems I can find.
