Could be a bunch of things. Firstly, said wand could be cursed,
in which case you'll see a mesage such as "you can't bring
yourself to remove *". Anything other than that would be a little
odd, just make sure your typing the right name for your wand. I'm
planning to log on after sending this, send xorg a tell when he
shows up and I'll see if there's anything I can do from within
the game.

Hi,
While on one of my quests in Alter Aeon, I got killed. When I was
restored,
I seemed to have just about everything. Now, when I try to cast a
spell, I'm
told I need a free hand to do that. Before I died, I was holding
a staff and
a Wand of Identifying. When I examine myself, I see that the wand
is being
held, but the game won't let me remove/drop it. Does anyone know
how to get
rid of an invisible item, assuming that's what it is now?
