Hi Laurel, Well, sad to say there really aren't that many free TTS voices out there. There are the Microsoft voices Sam, Mary, Mike, and now Anna, and then there is ESpeak. ESpeak is very robotic sounding, similar to Eloquence in that regard, but there are some higher quality voices for ESpeak you can install from the MBrola project. You can find the ESpeak downloads and information at http://espeak.sourceforge.net and you can google for the MBrola voices.
