To be honest charles even that is a bit much.
People will be listening to all their screen readers say,so personally I
just go with "warning! spoilers below" or similar, that way people can stop
reading at that point, ---- but whatever works for you.
Beware the grue!

Sometimes, rather than doing that, I will write some sort of warning like
this:
Here is a possible spoiler for the problem asked about, so if you don't
want it, either delete it or save for later if you might need it. Now
that we've gotten that out of the way, here's my solution:
This would be enough text so that those who don't want the solution can
silence their screen readers before the solution is given.

Hi Paulette,
It is considered good list etiquette to let readers know that a spoiler
is coming so they can close the e-mail before viewing the spoiler. The
reason Charles and many others spell the word out putting each letter on
a separate line is a sighted convention used on many mailing lists to
force a sighted reader to scroll down to find the spoiler rather than
having it appear on the same screen. We observe this convention here even
though with a screen reader its less necessary for us to do so.
Cheers!

Hi Charles,
I don't understand your last post. Why did you put each letter for the
words, spoiler and space, on a separate line? And what do they mean? I
use
backtracking, too. It works well.
Paulette
