Hi Paulette.
Just a heads up.
not everyone on this list, ---- indeed probably quite a large proportion of
the members are from the united states and thus do not have access to nls,
audible, bookshare or other things.
I'm in England for example, and the stupid copywrite laws in this country
make books very hard to get hold of. So, while discussing books is fine,
please do not assume that because it's available from nls, audible or some
other us based service everyone can get it.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but after 20 years of yelling at a government
who reffuse to do anything about accessible books and leave it to charities
who are so geared towards over 70's they rarely if ever produce any sf or
fantasy, I'm not exactly pleased with this situation.

Has anyone read the book, The Manhattan Hunt Club, by John Saul? It is a
great read. It is about a man who is accused of murder, I think, who is
placed in a very real hunting game, under Manhattan. This game is played
by
the very wealthy, who are bored and want a new challenge. So people from
the
under belly of society are told that they well have all charges dropped
and
be left alone, if they can escape. But so far, nobody has. I don't think
that it is on NLS. I know that it isn't on BARD, but it is on Audible.
