I can give you definitions of the first two:
Alias: a word that you set up to mean something else, usually in
the context of typing less. For example, you might use an alias
to switch sets of equipment so that you don't have to remember
what goes in each set.
Trigger: A trigger is a way of making something happen when a
particular event occurs, in mudding, usually when you recieve a
certain text string. Triggers are often used to simplify complex
or tedious tasks.
