Hi Michael,

Install Jim Kitchen's Winkit setup, and then reboot. That will resolve
any of your issues. If you would rather install the files manually you
will have to get a copy of dx8vb.dll from a Windows XP user, and then
manually register it via the commandline. Its not very difficult, but
I think Jim's Winkit is the easier approach here.
