Hi Lori, In deed. Well, I do have some good news for people planning to update to Windows 8. From what I've seen of the Windows 8 consumer preview while there are a lot of things I don't like about Win 8 I can say the new Microsoft voices that come with Sapi 5.5 are awesome. They are as good or almost as good as the RealSpeak voices that come with Jaws and they are free. Not sure if MS will put out a Sapi 5.5 upgrade for Windows 7 or not, but Microsoft's new 64-bit voices are light years better than Mike, Mary, and Sam.
