Below will be my instructions for my 5 card draw poker game. That is the
closest that I have for a book about poker. But for practice, you can play my
5 card draw poker game and poker in my strip war game.
My wincas2.exe and winswar.exe files can be found on my free windows sapi5 text
to speech games page.
wincas2.exe = a package of casino games which now has a black jack table, a
craps table, a 5 card draw poker machine, a slot machine and a roulette wheel
table.
winswar2.exe = Strip War is an X rated adult card game where you choose to play
strip war, strip poker or strip black jack against 3 computer bots, or against
other human players. (which you provide)
5 card draw poker machine instructions
The object of the game is to make the best poker hand that you can
by discarding any, all or none of your cards and then drawing new
cards by pressing the space bar. To discard a card you press the
number of that card.
This machine
pays 1 to 1 for a pair of jacks or better
which is a pair of jacks, a pair of queens, a pair of kings or a
pair of aces.
pays 2 to 1 for 2 pair
which is 2 cards the same and 2 other cards the same
such as 2 fives and 2 nines.
pays 3 to 1 for 3 of a kind
which is 3 cards the same. such as 3 sevens.
Pays 13 to 1 for a full house
which is 3 of one card and 2 of another
such as 3 twos and 2 nines.
Pays 21 to 1 for 4 of a kind
which is 4 cards the same. such as 4 threes.
Pays 5 to 1 for a straight
which is all 5 cards in sequence
such as a 3, a 4, a 5, a 6 and a 7.
Pays 7 to 1 for a royal straight
which is all five cards in sequence the top card being an ace
such as a 10, a jack, a queen, a king and an ace.
for a straight the cards do not need to be in the correct order
Pays 11 to 1 for a flush
which is all five cards being the same suit
such as a queen of hearts, a 2 of hearts, a six of hearts, a nine
of hearts and an eight of hearts.
Pays 75 to 1 for a straight flush
which is all five cards in sequence and of the same suit
such as a 5 of clubs, a 6 of clubs, a 7 of clubs, an eight of clubs
and a 9 of clubs.
Pays 125 to 1 for a royal straight flush
which is all five cards in sequence and of the same suit with the
top card being an ace
such as a 10 of spades, a jack of spades, a queen of spades, a king
of spades and an ace of spades.
