Remember a few years ago when the power grid went down and left the east coast and
part of Canada without power for days? Marcie and I happened to be vacationing at
the castle of Punderson State Park. They had generators running the A C and gas to
cook meals. So we got lucky on that one. I live in a H U D building. It is a
single level 75 unit building. We are like first on the list for evacuation in case
of emergency. The last time that Chardon lost electricity because a transformer blue
up they evacuated those that wanted to go and left EMT's here for those who wanted to
stay. Now for 12/21/2012 I just laid in a case of 1 liter 101 proof Wild Turkey
bourbon. I may not be a survivor, but I probably won't care. <grin>
