Hi Dark, Sure. I don't blame Draconis at all since their product key policy has always been pretty fair all things considered. Plus none of their products is over $30 or so which is not that big a deal considering the cost of most commercial software.
Microsoft on the other hand tend to be complete jerks when it comes to product key replacements. Change your motherboard, processor, or some other serious hardware and you are looking at buying a brand new copy of Windows simply because their product keys are tied to specific pieces of hardware. Even before they started there hardware key system they use to charge an arm and a leg for a key replacement. I remember several years ago getting a brand new copy of Windows 98, I tried to install it, found out the key didn't work, and I called Microsoft to bitch and scream about it. Not only did they charge me the cost of the tech support call, but I remember paying something like $50 just for them to give me a key for a copy of Windows 98 I just got out of the box with a defective product key. Its cases precisely like that why I hate Microsoft with a passion. There product key replacement policies are totally unfair and I'm not sure why people put up with it. Cheers!
