I think, if this is the same person as I saw in game, the problem was solved
by typing set msp off or some such.

Since no-one on the list seems to know, your best bet is probably to
ask on some of the channels in-game. I don't know what setting turns
that off, but there's got to be a few VIP mud players that can help
you figure it out. It might take a while to find someone, but I'm
sure somebody knows how to do it.
