Thanks, I think that I just have always had the UAC turned off on both of my
computers that are running XP.
BTW This one is like 8 years old and my game development one is like 10 years old.

FYI, that is a feature of User Account Control under Vista, Win 7,
and Windows 8. If User Account Control is set to medium security or
higher it won't allow programs to write settings etc directly to the
Program files directory. Under XP if someone is running as a standard
user, not administrator, it will also block write access to Program
Files as well.
