Hi Thomas, Thanks, I think that I just have always had the UAC turned off on both of my computers that are running XP.

If User Account Control is set to medium security or higher it won't allow programs to write settings etc directly to the Program files directory. Under XP if someone is running as a standard user, not administrator, it will also block write access to Program Files as well.
