Nope, the tree isn't in the arcade, but I had no problems finding it either
when I last played the computer club of fear myself, however I'm afraid I
don't remember exactly where it was.
All I can suggest is looking very carefully, especially past the door you
had to get the key from the palm to unlock sinse the christmas tree holds
the next key, indeed it might be up stairs on the second floorr in one of
the three passages that lead to the big door (though exploring all of those
is worth it sinse there were some quite hilarious enemies up there).
Beware the grue!

I have been trying to complete the Eamon Deluxe beta via Frank Black. I
have been stuck on the on the adventure from Nathan Sederlind called the
Computer Club of Fear.
Seems that I am missing an important object, namely, the Potted Christmas
Tree, which apparently contains a key, but I have searched all areas of
the complex and cannot find the blasted tree.
Now, the tree is mentioned in the hints, (Yes, I was weak and desperate
because I had run around like a chicken with my head cut off and still
could not find the damn tree. I found the palm tree, and the secret it
was hiding, but cannot find the xmas tree and the key it holds.
Any help would be appreciated. I found a couple of issues that i
reported to Frank, and that he remedied quickly. Apparently, Frank played
though the game with no problems, so either the tree is in that blasted
arcade, but I'm missing something obvious..
