Hi, first of all, I'd like to thank those who wrote me back on my hassle with the rail racer game. Next, I'd like to thank Che Martin for taking a look at the game to see why it didn't function as it should. I have a nice little patch installed for the game which turns the music down a bit, but again no menus or options come up. I was asked about my machine and when I told him I inherited it and I believe it was built about 2002 , 2003 or thereabouts, he in effect told me: "that's probably where your problem is. If you downloaded an earlier version of the game, it probably wouldn't work." So, the upshot is, he'll get back to me. If nothing is solved, I get money back in my bank account. It is possible if I get a newer computer it might work but who can say. Knowing my abilities as a technogeek-type person, I'd say something might have been bound to screw up on my end.
